…. the beginning – well the beginning is all a little cliché … but alas still very true – at the age of 10 my parents gave me my first camera – well it was actually my grandfathers camera which he simply did not use … a very simple instamatic, point shoot and wind on camera, but I loved it. (loved it and lost it on many occasions!)
The very first picture I took was (a slightly wonky) picture of the gates into Hampton Court – I will never forget that day and I can still recall how I felt that day just by holding that camera in my hand.
From that day on – I knew photography was going to be a big thing in my life. Time goes so quickly and memories fade – photographs give you back those moments. Its the tiny things that mean so much, the expressions, the image of your first borns tiny crib toy or your hands entwined tightly on your wedding day.
